The AGM/DGM Sales North East based in Guwahati will drive sales growth in the North East Zone by leading a sales team, developing strategic plans, achieving targets, managing key customer relationships, and coordinating with marketing. The role is a link between corporate strategy and on-the-ground sales,
responsible for leading people and managing numbers to achieve zonal Key Performance Areas (KPAs):
Sales and Collection target achievement: Achieve Zonal sales and collection target (Electrical + Small engine + Industrial). Plan & execute daily/weekly/monthly sales and collection plan for (Electrical + Small engine + Industrial) Take corrective action as and when required.
Channel and Dealer appointment: Find new area of opportunity and plan appointment and maintenance of new channel. Improve dealer performance by increasing coverage of dealer and distributor. Resolve channel issues as and when raised to keep them motivated. Increase our product range in the market through our channel
Market share: Make Strategy for gaining market share. Plan activities to increase awareness. Increase retailer coverage with our team and dealer team to maximize coverage.
Sales/Stock management or Planning: -Advance planning of sales for better availability looking at market conditions and AOP.Coordinate with planning team for sudden/seasonal requirement
Marketing Activity: Conduct promotional activity. Execute company lead scheme in the market. Track competitor activity and market trends. Find gaps in the market and plan new product launches.
Team Management: Drive team towards achievement of monthly and quarterly AOP.Recruit & train team for better performance. Weekly and Monthly performance review with team and actions accordingly. Coach team & resolve issues of team members for better performance Experience & Qualifications
Years of Service: Close to 15 years of experience in sales and driving a result-driven team.
Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of Pumps, Motors, Internal Combustion (IC) Engines,paints,FMCG sales in the Northeast zone.
Education: Graduate or B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent. An MBA or a master's in business management is a significant plus.
