Role Summary
- Take end-to-end ownership of the ERP platform.
- Translate business vision into scalable ERP solutions.
- Manage functional requirements, implementations, support, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with leadership, engineering, support, sales, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Requirement Management
- Own ERP modules end-to-end from ideation to delivery and continuous optimisation.
- Translate business needs into:
- Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
- Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
- User stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria
- Manage, prioritise, and refine the product backlog based on business impact.
- Act as the primary functional decision-maker for assigned ERP modules.
Business Analysis & Process Design
- Conduct AS-IS / TO-BE process analysis across ERP functions.
- Design scalable, standardised, and optimised business processes.
- Create process flows using:
- Flowcharts
- BPMN diagrams
- UML diagrams
- Identify process gaps, dependencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
ERP Implementation & Functional Consulting
- Support ERP configuration, customisation, testing, and deployment.
- Translate business processes into ERP workflows for:
- Finance
- HR & Payroll
- Procurement
- Inventory
- Machinery
- Projects & Labour
- Act as a functional bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Ensure alignment with GST, audit, statutory, and compliance standards.
Support Ticket Analysis & Change Enablement
- Analyse tickets received from Support Consultants.
- Reproduce issues to validate system behaviour.
- Classify tickets as:
- Bug
- Minor change
- Major change / enhancement
- Process or usage issue
- Convert verified tickets into structured internal tasks.
- Perform impact and effort analysis.
- Coordinate with developers and act as functional SPOC.
Testing, Validation & Closure
- Perform functional testing after development completion.
- Validate all affected scenarios and ensure no regression.
- Ensure output matches documented requirements.
- Provide resolution summaries for client communication.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Own and maintain:
- BRDs, FRDs, and user stories
- Module-wise and role-wise flow diagrams
- SOPs, user manuals, and guides
- Ticket resolution documents and knowledge base articles
- Ensure documentation is accurate, version-controlled, and audit-ready.
Product Demo, Training & Enablement
- Design and deliver product demos and demo scripts.
- Conduct training for customers and internal teams.
- Create training materials, walkthroughs, and presentations.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Analyse live ERP usage and recommend enhancements.
- Research ERP best practices and industry benchmarks.
- Contribute to ERP product and platform strategy.
- Improve performance, scalability, maintainability, and UX.
Mandatory Skills
Functional & ERP Expertise
- 5+ years of experience as an ERP Business Analyst / Product Owner / Functional Consultant.
- Strong domain expertise in construction, real estate, infrastructure, or mining.
- Deep functional knowledge of minimum 3 ERP modules.
- Hands-on experience in ERP implementation and support.
Documentation & Communication
- Strong expertise in BRD, FRD, SOPs, and workflow documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Analytical & Problem-Solving
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently as a functional owner.
- Detail-oriented with strong ownership mindset.
