Area Sales Manager - Broking Channel - 8+ Years - Bangalore

Are you an experienced General Insurance professional with expertise in Commercial Lines and Broker Channel Sales? We are looking for an Area Manager to drive business growth, strengthen broker relationships, and expand the commercial insurance portfolio across the Bangalore market. If you have strong experience in Fire & Engineering, Liability, Marine, Workmen's Compensation, and Group Health business, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career.

Responsibilities

- Achieve monthly business targets across Commercial Lines of Business.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing insurance brokers and intermediaries while driving renewals and new business acquisition.
- Identify and onboard new brokers/intermediaries to enhance market penetration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients to increase market presence.
- Coordinate with underwriting, operations, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless policy issuance and servicing.
- Ensure timely service delivery by adhering to defined TATs and company guidelines.

Requirements

- Minimum 8+ years of experience in General Insurance Sales/Marketing within the Bangalore market.
- Strong experience in Commercial Lines including Fire & Engineering, Liability, Marine, Workmen's Compensation, and Group Health.




- Proven experience in Broker Channel or Corporate Agency Channel handling.
- Strong network with insurance brokers and intermediaries in the Bangalore market.
- Experience in managing mid to large-ticket Commercial Insurance business.
