Role: Lead- Monitoring & Evaluation, Mumbai Experience: 15+ years Salary: Up to 25-30 LPA ______________________________________________________ About the role: The Head of Monitoring, Evaluation & Impact will lead the design and execution of robust monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) frameworks across all programs. The role focuses on strengthening impact measurement, driving data-driven decision-making, and enabling research and policy advocacy. The Lead ensures that program outcomes remain aligned with organizational strategy and stakeholder expectations. Key Responsibilities: Monitoring, Evaluation & Impact Frameworks Lead the development and revision of M&E; frameworks, including indicators, tools, and data collection systems. Design innovative methodologies to capture holistic program impact. Ensure standardization and maintain high data quality across all programs. Field Monitoring & Program Oversight: Conduct monitoring visits to centers and project locations to assess program quality. Oversee budget utilization to ensure alignment with program goals. Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements for seamless delivery. Strategy, Research & Policy Advocacy Lead strategic initiatives to enhance impact evaluation using advanced methodologies. Drive initiatives such as research proposals, paper presentations, and third-party evaluations. Generate insights to support policy advocacy and sectoral thought leadership.
Reporting & Data Management Oversee monthly and quarterly reporting, tracking targets versus achievements. Ensure timely submission of M&E; reports to senior leadership and the Chairperson. Develop dashboards and reporting systems for effective data visualization. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management Lead and mentor the M&E; team to build robust analytical and evaluation capabilities. Prepare and present quarterly reports for stakeholders and special projects. Support fundraising efforts by providing evidence-based impact data and narratives for donors. Contribute to cross-organizational initiatives and new projects beyond core responsibilities. Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Social Science, Economics, or Statistics preferred); Master's degree is preferred. Experience: 10–15 years of relevant experience. Skills: Expertise in MEL frameworks, impact assessment, and research design. Leadership: Proven ability to manage multi-project environments and drive organizational impact.
