Social Media Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, proactive, and detail-oriented Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's social media presence, maintaining its online reputation, and supporting day-to-day digital marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain the company's Instagram pages on a daily basis.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging posts, stories, reels, and other social media content.
- Monitor Instagram engagement and respond to comments and direct messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage and monitor the company's online review platforms, including Google Reviews and other relevant review websites.
- Respond to customer reviews and feedback while maintaining the company's brand voice.
- Help improve the company's online reputation by encouraging positive engagement and addressing customer concerns professionally.
- Coordinate with internal teams to collect content, testimonials, announcements, and updates for social media.
- Track social media performance and prepare basic weekly and monthly reports.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
- Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns, promotions, and marketing initiatives.




- Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and visual identity across all social media platforms.

Requirements

- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
- Good understanding of Instagram and other social media platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with an eye for engaging content.
- Basic knowledge of Canva, Adobe Express, or similar design tools is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite.
- Basic photo and video editing skills.
- Understanding of social media analytics and engagement metrics.
- Prior experience managing social media accounts is an added advantage.
