Role description:
This is a VP position within our US Lev Fin team across industry. The candidate will work with the US Lev Fin team and work closely with the portfolio managers in assessing public, liquid credit prospects.
The ideal candidate should be capable of primary credit coverage of a defined list of issuers and will be responsible for rigorous credit-orientated fundamental research across the corporate capital structure. The individual will be monitoring investments for Public High Yield, Leveraged Loan and Long/Short Credit strategies. Generalists could apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct fundamental credit research across the corporate capital structure
Work with a senior analyst in covering various sectors, analyzing and explaining economic, competitive and political drivers that impact a borrower’s credit quality.
Contribute trade ideas and discuss them with the portfolio managers, participate in relative value and trade structuring discussions
Interact with management teams, industry sources, other analysts, sell-side analysts, and other investment professionals
