Job Title: Assistant/Associate Professor – Hotel Management

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

- Master’s Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality Management or a related field from a recognized university
- Specialization in Food Production and/or Food & Beverage Service
- Ph.D. preferred
- Minimum 2 years of teaching, research, or relevant industry experience
- Solid academic record; industry exposure and certifications will be an added advantage
- Candidates should meet UGC/AICTE norms as applicable

Key Responsibilities

- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Hotel Management
- Deliver practical and theoretical sessions in Food Production and Food & Beverage Service
- Develop and update curriculum aligned with industry standards and hospitality trends
- Train students in culinary techniques, kitchen operations, service standards, and hospitality etiquette
- Guide students in internships, industrial training, and academic projects
- Organize practical sessions, workshops, food festivals, and guest lectures
- Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of kitchen and service labs




- Mentor students for academic and professional development
- Participate in departmental and university-level academic activities

Desirable Qualifications & Skills

- Robust expertise in Food Production, Culinary Arts, and F&B; Service Operations
- Hands-on experience in hotel/restaurant industry operations
- Knowledge of modern kitchen equipment, menu planning, and service techniques
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to train students in real-world hospitality scenarios
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills

Pay Scale

₹25,000 – ₹80,000 per month (commensurate with qualifications and experience)
