MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
• Robust technical underwriting knowledge in non-EB lines.
• Must be from the Insurance or Insurance Broking Industry
• Expertise in the Key LOBs such as Property (Fire & Allied Perils, IAR), Marine (Transit / Open / Import–Export), Liability (D&O;, CGL, Product, Professional Indemnity Etc), Engineering (CAR, EAR, MB, EEI), Event Insurance, Cyber, Crime, and Specialty Lines (as applicable)
• Ability to assess complex risks and interpret policy wordings.

JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Underwrite current / rollover or renewal proposals in line with underwriting guidelines.
• Analyze risk submissions, proposal forms, claim history, and supporting documents.
• Determine appropriate coverage terms, pricing, deductibles,



and limits.
• Coordinate with Insurance companies and internal / external teams for clarifications.
• Issue quotations, endorsements, and policy documentation.
• Support business development with technically sound underwriting inputs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal underwriting standards.
• Assist in resolving underwriting-related queries and escalations.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
• Graduate / Post Graduate in any disciple
• Professional certifications such as IRDAI licensing, Associate/Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India (III), CII (UK), or AIRM are an added advantage.
