Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Test Lead to lead testing activities for ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, and platform upgrades. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ServiceNow testing, defect management, test planning, and validation of fixes, along with a ServiceNow official certification. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality ServiceNow solutions are delivered across ITSM and other ServiceNow modules.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end testing activities for ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, and upgrades.
- Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and functional requirements.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, log, track, and manage defects using defect management tools such as Jira or ServiceNow.
- Validate defect fixes and perform regression testing to ensure application stability.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve application quality.
- Ensure all testing activities are completed within project timelines and quality standards.
- Review requirements and provide input to improve testability and solution quality.
- Coordinate UAT activities with business users and support production deployments.
- Prepare test execution reports, defect metrics, and quality status reports for project stakeholders.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote testing best practices within the team.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.




- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Software Testing/QA with at least 3+ years of ServiceNow testing experience.
- ServiceNow Official Certification (CSA or other relevant ServiceNow certification) is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience testing ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Strong experience creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Experience logging, tracking, and validating defects through their lifecycle.
- Experience validating bug fixes and performing regression testing.
- Good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with defect management and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead testing activities across multiple projects.

Preferred Skills

- Experience testing ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, CMDB, or Service Portal modules.
- Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Experience with performance and integration testing.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and IT service management concepts.

Nice to Have

- ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification.
- Experience supporting ServiceNow platform upgrades and release validation.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations and web services (REST/SOAP).
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
