Job Title: Physician Intensivist
Employment Type: Full -time, In -house, Day Shifts
Work Structure:
- On -site hospital role
- 8 -hour shifts
- 24 working days per month
About the Role:
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Physician Intensivists to join our partner hospitals across multiple locations in India. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing hands -on leadership in the ICU, delivering high -quality critical care, and driving clinical excellence. As a Consultant Intensivist, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of critically ill patients, leading the ICU team, and contributing to the overall growth of clinical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Leadership: Act as Consultant Physician Intensivist with admission privileges during your assigned shifts.
- Patient Care: Provide end -to -end clinical management for critically ill patients in the ICU.
- ICU Procedures: Perform and supervise various ICU procedures as per clinical protocols.
- Team Leadership: Lead the ICU team and collaborate with multidisciplinary consultants for optimal patient outcomes.
- Patient and Family Counseling: Engage with patients and families, providing updates, emotional support, and counseling regarding patient condition and treatment plans.
- Quality & Governance: Participate in clinical governance,
quality improvement initiatives, and meetings to maintain high standards of care.
- Academic & Training Contribution: Be involved in academic activities, including teaching and training of junior medical staff and contributing to the hospital’s educational programs.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Essential Qualifications:
- DM / DrNB / FNB / IDCCM in Critical Care
- MD / DNB in Internal Medicine
- Experience: Proven experience in ICU management, including leadership roles in multidisciplinary settings. Prior experience in handling critical care cases, performing procedures, and providing intensive care.
