- Utilize computer-based diagnostic systems to identify electrical faults in trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
- Repair and upkeep of electrical systems, encompassing wiring, lighting, and control units.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on truck air conditioning systems.
- Identify and resolve issues related to air pressure systems in trucks and heavy equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of all electrical components.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and diagnostics.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as an electrician in the heavy vehicle and equipment sector.
- Proficiency in utilizing computer diagnostic tools and software.
- Thorough understanding of truck and trailer electrical systems, including air conditioning and air pressure systems.
