## What youu2019ll do:nnThe Accounting and Controls Senior Accountant will provide leadership of the Accounting function for allocated sites. Ensuring accuracy of US GAAP and local GAAP numbers, and that all compliance requirements are met. This role will have a strong focus on the standardization and optimization of financial processes across allocated sites, rolling out strategic initiatives and working closely with the Controllership (incl. Global Financial Accounting) and COEs nu2022 Responsibility for closing, accounting, and reporting for allocated sites, ensuring each close is completed accurately and in line with operational reporting timetables nu2022 Ensure control setting. Adherence to all Eaton Policies, US GAAP, SOX and local statutory/tax compliance requirements must be maintained nu2022 Statutory reporting and administration where applicable. nu2022 Partner with Operations to help execute business strategies, develop a detailed understanding of the operational activities and build business acumen nu2022 Support all strategic projects within the region such as tax, restructuring, Mu0026A activities, payroll, system implementations and other ad-hoc projects nu2022 Drive optimization through standardization, simplification and automation of financial processes within the zone, working closely with Controllership,
