Chemical Chemist – Production Department

Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering

Job Summary:
Responsible for monitoring and supporting chemical production processes, ensuring smooth operations, product quality, safety, and compliance with SOPs and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor chemical production processes and ensure operations are carried out as per SOPs.
- Handle and monitor chemical reactions, batch processing, and production activities.
- Ensure correct handling, charging, and transfer of raw materials and chemicals.
- Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, pH, and reaction time.
- Maintain batch manufacturing records and production documentation.
- Coordinate with QC and QA teams for sampling, testing, and quality requirements.
- Identify process deviations and assist in troubleshooting production issues.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of production equipment.
- Follow GMP, safety, EHS,



and company procedures.
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals.
- Support process improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives.
- Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in the production area.

Candidate Profile:

- Strong knowledge of chemical processes and production operations.
- Experience in chemical/pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred.
- Good understanding of GMP, SOPs, and safety practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable communication and team coordination abilities.
- Willingness to work in shifts as required.
