Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ophthalmic OT Technician to assist in ophthalmic surgeries and ensure smooth functioning of the Operation Theatre in compliance with clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain the ophthalmic operation theatre for surgeries (cataract, retina, etc.)
- Assist ophthalmologists during surgical procedures
- Ensure proper sterilization of instruments and OT workplace
- Handle ophthalmic surgical equipment such as phaco machines, microscopes, and lasers
- Monitor patient vitals during procedures (if applicable)
- Maintain OT records, instrument logs, and inventory
- Ensure adherence to infection control and biomedical waste management protocols
- Coordinate with surgeons, nursing staff, and support teams
Eligibility Criteria:
- DOT / DOA
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in ophthalmic OT (preferred)
- Knowledge of ophthalmic surgical instruments and procedures
