Operation Blessing (OB) India is seeking an experienced Senior Program Officer – Health and Medical to provide leadership to the project and position the organization with all relevant organizations and important stakeholders in and around project locations. She/he will be responsible for closely monitoring the implementation of the programme activities, ensure optimum and timely utilization of resources and maintaining high standards of integrity. She/he will also be responsible for community mobilization, assessment, planning, implantation, reporting, networking, and resource tapping.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications

- Master’s degree in social science with public health experience/Community Health/ Master’s in Community Health




- Must have minimum of 5 years in health program management which could be in clinic management, community mobilization. preventive health education and disease surveillance at community level.
- Knowledge of basic concept of epidemiology and biostatistics and understanding of health information system
- Computer literate (thorough understanding of MS Outlook, MS Word, good understanding of MS Excel and MS Access).
- Extensive working knowledge of cross-cultural environments and customs
- Solid decision-making and analytical skills
- Ability to take initiative, be innovative, work independently, and function as a team player.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to travel locally as assigned up to 50% of the year.
