Product Manager – E-commerce Fulfillment
Albertsons Companies is seeking a Product Manager to own and evolve the post-purchase fulfillment experience for e-commerce customers, spanning both delivery and pickup order journeys. This role is central to how we measure, report on, and improve operational and customer outcomes after checkout. The PM will also define high-impact use cases to improve the customer experience delivery and pickup experience.
The ideal candidate is someone who is genuinely comfortable in the data — writing SQL, shaping dashboards, and understanding what it takes to stand up reliable business reporting while also having a strong grasp on what makes an delightful experience for stakeholders – internal as well as our customers. Exposure to AI/ML or LLM-powered features is a plus, as some workstreams may involve associate-facing tools or automation.
You will work closely with Senior Product Managers, Designers, Engineering, and Data/Analytics partners to define requirements, execute roadmaps, instrument measurable outcomes, and continuously improve the post-purchase experience in production. This role is ideal for a PM who enjoys working at the intersection of data, operations, and customer experience in a complex retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Roadmap Development: Build and maintain a strategic product roadmap for the post-purchase experience across both delivery and pickup order workflows, aligned to customer needs, associate pain points, and business objectives.
- Reporting & Insights:
Define key metrics and partner with data teams to build and maintain business reporting that gives stakeholders explicit visibility into post-purchase performance.
- Partner with engineering, UX, and business stakeholders across geographies to deliver high-impact features and enhancements.
- Champion a customer-first mindset, ensuring that product decisions are grounded in user insights, data, and measurable outcomes.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct deep market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
- Lifecycle Ownership: Manage the product lifecycle from ideation through launch and iteration.
- Requirements Gathering: Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements and user stories.
- Monitor product performance and KPIs, using data to inform decisions and optimize outcomes.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring smooth execution across multiple workstreams and dependencies.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders, including exposure to US-based teams.
Experience:
- 6-9 years of product management experience
- Demonstrated experience owning data-driven or reporting-heavy product areas
- Experience working in Retail and E-commerce, order fulfillment, delivery, or pickup workflows is preferred
- Experience working in Agile product development environments
- Exposure to AI/ML or LLM-driven features is a plus
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with SQL and data analysis is required
- Basic to intermediate understanding of E-commerce and post-purchase operations, including both delivery and pickup order journeys
- Strong foundational product management skills and execution mindset
