Job Title: Accountant cum Cashier

Role Overview:
YS Group is seeking a detail-oriented and highly reliable Accountant cum Cashier to manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensure accurate accounting records, and maintain strong financial discipline across operations. The role demands integrity, precision, and the ability to work in a fast-paced academic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage all cash transactions, receipts, and payments with complete accuracy and transparency
- Maintain daily cash book and ensure timely reconciliation with bank statements
- Handle fee collection, issuance of receipts, and proper recording in the system
- Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and supporting documentation
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and statutory requirements
- Coordinate with auditors and support during audits
- Monitor outstanding dues and follow up for timely collections




- Safeguard cash and financial documents to prevent discrepancies or misuse
- Support management with data insights for better financial decision-making

Key Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting (B.Com or equivalent); M.Com preferred
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and cash handling
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and basic taxation
- Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems and MS Excel
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Good communication and organizational skills
