Roles & Responsibility

1. People Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the factory workforce, including production, quality, maintenance, and logistics teams. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

2. Factory Operations & Production: Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth production, adherence to quality standards, and timely execution of production schedules. Optimize processes to enhance efficiency and reduce wastage.

3. Departmental Oversight: Manage key departments such as Production, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and HR. Align department goals with overall business objectives.

4. Career Progression & Development: Identify and nurture talent within the factory, implementing training programs and career growth opportunities for employees.

5. Dynamic/Smaller Factory Setups: Adapt to the fast-paced nature of a growing brand, working in an evolving setup where agility, problem-solving, and hands-on involvement are essential.

6. Compliance & Safety:



Ensure all factory operations comply with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, labor laws, and environmental guidelines. Promote a secure and secure work environment.

7. Cost & Efficiency Management: Monitor production costs, optimize resources, and implement process improvements to enhance cost-effectiveness while maintaining high product quality.

8. Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with senior management, procurement teams, and logistics partners to streamline operations and ensure alignment with company goals.

Requirements

1. 6-8 years in factory operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within FMCG, food processing, or ice cream/dairy industries.

2. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.

3. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills. Proficiency in production planning, quality assurance, and cost control.

4. Experience in managing smaller, agile factory setups with hands-on operational involvement.
