Assistant Professor – Food Production

Roles & Responsibilities

- Deliver theory lectures in Food Production as per the curriculum.
- Conduct practical kitchen sessions and hands-on culinary training.
- Guide students in food preparation, presentation, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Prepare lesson plans, practical schedules, assessments, and academic records.
- Mentor students for skill development, industrial training, and placements.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental activities, seminars, workshops, and institutional events.
- Ensure proper maintenance and effective utilization of kitchen laboratories and equipment.
- Perform academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the department.

Eligibility





- Master's Degree in Hotel Management/Hospitality Management/Food Production or relevant specialization.
- Eligibility as per IKGPTU/AICTE norms.
- Freshers as well as experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.

Salary

- Negotiable, based on qualifications and experience.

Other Requirements

- Candidates must be willing to relocate.
- Separate hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls.
