The Hospital Attender is responsible for providing non-clinical support to patients and healthcare staff. This includes assisting patients with basic needs, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the assigned area, transporting patients or materials, and ensuring a protected and comfortable environment in the hospital.

- Assist patients with mobility, including helping them move between bed and wheelchair or stretcher.
- Support patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding when needed.
- Transport patients, medical records, specimens, and equipment between departments.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms, wards, and other areas.
- Change bed linens and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.




- Provide assistance to nurses and other medical staff during patient care procedures.
- Respond promptly to patient calls or requests and report any unusual patient behavior or condition to the nurse.
- Ensure wheelchairs, stretchers, and other equipment are clean and in proper working condition.
- Adhere to hospital safety and infection control protocols at all times.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and treat all individuals with dignity and respect.
