Role Overview

Healthcare specialists are drowning in administrative complexity, and we're solving that with production AI agents, not prototypes. This is real agentic AI engineering: you'd be building the agent systems behind tools like clinical documentation, referral tracking, and patient engagement, agents that reason, take action, and plug directly into live clinical workflows, not easy chat wrappers bolted onto a UI. You'd be a part of the team building the backend logic, the APIs, and the frontend that makes it usable, working hands-on with RAG pipelines, generative AI, and agentic frameworks in a live production environment from day one, not a lab environment or a proof of concept that never ships.

We're looking for someone who wants to grow with our team and help set the technical standard for how we build. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience applying AI/ML techniques in production environments, including generative AI, RAG pipelines, and agentic systems, alongside strong backend development skills in Python and Django and solid frontend proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

AI/ML & Agentic Systems Development

- Build and deploy AI/ML systems in real-world production applications, including generative AI, RAG pipelines, and agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen).
- Integrate and maintain ML models within Django-based APIs and UI dashboards.
- Collaborate with data and analytics teams to extract actionable insights.
- Own model deployment, performance monitoring, and integration workflows.
- Support CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps, automated testing, and containerization tools (Docker).

Backend Development

- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Python and Django, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with engineering team members to implement machine learning models and AI algorithms that generate actionable insights.
- Ensure data security,



compliance, and integrity across all integrations.
- Partner with the Analytics Engineer to optimize data pipelines and processing frameworks.

Frontend Development

- Build and enhance user-friendly, data-rich web interfaces and dashboards.
- Develop frontend components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.

System Integration & Maintenance

- Work extensively with RESTful and JSON-based APIs to enable seamless data exchange across platforms.
- Manage cloud services and deployment environments (Azure experience preferred).
- Support system integration with third-party platforms.

Collaboration & Reporting

- Engage with business stakeholders, including AI and engineering teams, to understand and implement project requirements.
- Offer technical insights to improve product functionality and development roadmap.
- Actively participate in Agile processes such as sprint planning and code reviews, using Azure Boards for project tracking and task management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

AI/ML & Agentic Systems

- 2+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML systems in real-world production applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with generative AI, RAG pipelines, and agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen).
- Experience integrating and maintaining ML models within Django-based APIs and UI dashboards.
- Experience with model deployment, performance monitoring, and integration workflows.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps, automated testing, and containerization tools (Docker).

Backend Development

- Proficient in Python with experience using Django REST framework.
- Skilled in database management, especially with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Demonstrated ability to design and manage secure and scalable APIs.

Frontend Development

- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern frontend framework such as React.js.
- Comfortable building functional, responsive interfaces designed by a UI/UX designer.




- Experience creating responsive designs and working with established design systems.

System Integration & Data Handling

- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, particularly Azure (Azure App Service, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps).
- Version control using Git and Azure Repos, with familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of data governance and security standards.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or similar platforms.

Experience & Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of full stack development experience, with a strong emphasis on backend systems and AI/ML integration.
- Previous experience in a lead developer role in startup or high-growth environments is a plus.

- Willingness to work modified U.S. hours for optimal team collaboration.
