Job Summary

RK Life Care Inc. is looking for a skilled HVAC Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, qualification, and performance of HVAC systems in our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have experience in cleanroom HVAC systems, regulatory compliance, and preventive maintenance to ensure a controlled manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate, monitor, and maintain HVAC systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing and cleanroom areas.
- Ensure temperature, humidity, differential pressure, and air changes comply with GMP requirements.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of HVAC equipment, AHUs, chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, and ventilation systems.
- Prepare and maintain HVAC maintenance records, logbooks, SOPs, and documentation.
- Coordinate HVAC qualification activities, including IQ, OQ, and PQ.
- Support cleanroom validation, smoke studies, air balancing, and environmental monitoring activities.
- Troubleshoot HVAC system issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).




- Ensure compliance with cGMP, WHO-GMP, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, Engineering, and Maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.
- Supervise HVAC contractors and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of HVAC monitoring instruments.

Requirements

- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in HVAC systems within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of cleanroom HVAC systems, AHUs, chillers, HEPA filters, HVAC validation, and GMP requirements.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation practices.
- Valuable communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in dry injection manufacturing is preferred.
- Knowledge of HVAC qualification, cleanroom validation, and regulatory inspections will be an added advantage.
