1. Role Objective

To plan, deliver, and assess engaging Social Science lessons (History, Geography, Civics & Economics) for middle and secondary classes, ensuring the holistic academic development of students in line with school curriculum and educational standards.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Teaching & Classroom Management

- Teach Social Science subjects to Classes VI–X as per curriculum guidelines.
- Prepare daily lesson plans, teaching aids, and instructional materials.
- Use effective teaching methodologies to enhance student understanding.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Conduct class tests, periodic assessments, and evaluate student performance.

B. Academic Duties

- Prepare question papers, worksheets, and assessment tools.
- Maintain student attendance, academic records, and progress reports.
- Identify slow learners and provide remedial classes whenever required.
- Participate in curriculum planning and academic audits.
- Ensure timely completion of syllabus.

C. Student Engagement

- Encourage student participation through projects, activities, and discussions.




- Promote critical thinking and awareness on social, political, and cultural issues.
- Guide students in exhibitions, competitions, and interschool events.

D. Administrative & School Responsibilities

- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and professional development programs.
- Supervise school events, assemblies, and examinations as assigned.
- Maintain decorum and follow all school policies and procedures.
- Support school initiatives, celebrations, and community outreach activities.

3. Qualification & ExperienceEssential Qualifications

- Graduation in History/Geography/Political Science/Sociology/Economics.
- B.Ed with Social Science as a teaching subject.

Preferred Experience

- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in Social Science at middle/secondary level.
- Experience with CBSE/State Board curriculum will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
