Salary Range:

₹16,000 – ₹35,000 per month
(Based on experience, skill level, and position)

Working Hours:

- 9 working hours + 1 hour break
- Rotational shifts
- Weekly off as per roster

Job Summary

Bombay Island Coffee Company is looking for passionate and hardworking Commi Chefs (1, 2 & 3) to join our kitchen team at our Andheri and Vikhroli outlets. The ideal candidate should have experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, hygiene standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesCommi Chef 1

- Handle assigned kitchen section independently
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Assist in inventory management and stock control
- Supervise junior kitchen staff when required
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards
- Coordinate with Head Chef/Sous Chef for daily operations

Commi Chef 2

- Prepare ingredients and dishes as per recipes and SOPs




- Support senior chefs in kitchen operations
- Ensure cleanliness of workstation and kitchen equipment
- Maintain portion control and quality standards
- Assist in stock rotation and storage

Commi Chef 3

- Assist in basic food preparation and mise en place
- Support kitchen team during service hours
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Follow instructions from senior chefs
- Help with kitchen prep and storage activities

Requirements

- Minimum 0–5 years of relevant kitchen experience
- Experience in café, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred
- Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene
- Ability to work in rotational shifts
- Team player with positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication and time-management skills
