Mining Manager Qualifications & Skills

Certificate - First Class Manager.

- Advanced degree in mining engineering, geology, or a related field
- Professional certification in mine management
- Extensive knowledge of mining software and technology
- Experience with large-scale mining operations
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Ability to develop and implement advanced mining techniques
- Proven track record of successful project management
- Familiarity with international mining regulations and standards
- Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the mining industry
- Solid understanding of mining operations and processes
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in mining-related computer software
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the mining industry
- Ability to work in remote and challenging environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Mining Manager Responsibilities & Duties:

- Plan, organize, and coordinate mining operations




- Develop and implement mining plans and schedules
- Manage mine safety and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of mining equipment
- Monitor production performance and make necessary adjustments
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Liaise with government authorities and ensure regulatory compliance
- Recruit, train, and manage mining staff
- Prepare budgets and manage financial resources
- Ensure efficient extraction and processing of minerals
- Implement sustainable and environmentally-friendly mining practices
- Coordinate with other departments, including engineering and environmental management
- Oversee the health and safety of all personnel on site

Work Location: Bengaluru.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
