Psychology Teacher (B.Ed. mandatory)

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Psychology Teacher to teach Classes XI and XII in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate will create an engaging learning environment, promote critical thinking, and support students' academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Psychology to Classes XI and XII as per the CBSE syllabus.
- Prepare annual, monthly, and daily lesson plans.
- Deliver interactive, student-centered classroom instruction using creative teaching methods.
- Develop and administer assignments, projects, practical activities, unit tests, and examinations.
- Assess student performance and maintain accurate academic records.
- Prepare students for CBSE board examinations through regular revision and exam-oriented guidance.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents during Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
- Maintain discipline and create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
- Participate in school activities, faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.
- Collaborate with school counsellors and teachers to support students' academic, emotional, and social well-being.




- Stay updated with CBSE guidelines, curriculum changes, and developments in Psychology.

Qualifications

- Master's Degree (M.A./M.Sc.) in Psychology from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution (preferred/mandatory as per school policy).
- Previous experience teaching Psychology at the senior secondary (CBSE) level is preferred.
- Excellent English communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital teaching platforms is desirable.
