Senior Test Automation Engineer – Cards (Issuing & Acquiring)

Location: Chennai (Preferred) / As per Project Requirements

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in the Cards & Payments domain, specifically across Card Issuing and Merchant Acquiring platforms. The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge of card transaction lifecycles, payment processing systems, and hands-on experience in test automation frameworks, API testing, and end-to-end transaction validation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Cards and Payments applications.
- Automate functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end payment test scenarios.
- Validate card transaction flows across Issuing, Acquiring, POS, ATM, and E-commerce channels.
- Validate ISO 8583 message formats and transaction lifecycles.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.

Domain Expertise (Must Have):

- Card Issuing Systems
- Merchant Acquiring Platforms
- Authorization, Clearing,



and Settlement
- Chargebacks and Dispute Management
- Payment Gateway Integrations
- EMV Standards and ISO 8583 Messaging
- PCI-DSS Awareness

Technical Skills (Must Have):

- Selenium WebDriver
- Java or C#
- TestNG / JUnit
- REST Assured, Postman, SOAP UI
- SQL
- Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git
- JIRA

Positive to Have:

- VisionPLUS, TSYS, FIS, Fiserv, PowerCARD, Base24, Way4
- Playwright or Cypress

- Cloud testing exposure (AWS/Azure)
