Job Description:

Navaera Software is looking for an experienced and dynamic Quality Assurance Automation with strong expertise in Playwright Automation Framework with type script. The ideal candidate will be responsible for QA automation, building scalable automation solutions, improving testing processes, and ensuring high-quality product delivery in a fast-paced Agile workplace.

This role requires a combination of automation expertise and strong collaboration with development and product teams and strong software testing fundamentals and techniques.

Designation:Associate, Quality Assurance Automation

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript, Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Develop automated test scripts for Web UI, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Manual QA and DevOps teams.
- Analyze functional requirements and prepare automation test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze failures.
- Identify, report, and track defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and improve application quality.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Agile ceremonies.
- Review automation scripts and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Reduce flaky tests by implementing synchronization and stable locator strategies.
- Generate automation execution reports and quality metrics.
- Continuously improve automation scripts and testing processes.




- Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and release discussions.
- Track, report, and manage defects using tools like JIRA.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
- Expertise in JavaScript / TypeScript
- Experience in Web Automation Testing
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC/STLC
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman is plus
- Quality Metrics & Reporting such as Automation coverage tracking, Defect leakage and release quality metrics, Test reporting and quality dashboards.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Page Object Model (POM)
- Data-driven testing
- Keyword-driven testing (preferred)
- Test data management

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field
- ISTQB certification is an added advantage
- Exposure to performance testing is preferred
- Experience testing distributed systems and event-driven architectures preferred

Experience Requirements

- 3-5 years of experience in QA
- Minimum 2 years proven experience working with Playwright and type script

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,218,361.60 per year
