1. Pre-Operative Duties (Preparation)

- Theatre Setup: Prepare the operation theatre before surgeries, including cleaning surfaces, adjusting lighting, and checking temperature and humidity levels.
- Equipment Verification: Ensure all vital equipment (e.g., anesthesia machines, monitors, suction units, and ventilators) is fully functional.
- Instrument Sterilization: Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments according to hospital infection control standards.
- Patient Preparation: Assist in transporting patients to the OT, verifying patient details, and safely positioning them on the operating table.

2. Intra-Operative Duties (During Surgery)

- Assisting the Surgical Team: Help surgeons and scrub nurses by handing over sterilized instruments, opening sterile packs,



and managing swabs and needles.
- Aseptic Maintenance: Strictly apply infection control protocols to maintain a sterile field throughout the operation.
- Anesthesia Assistance: Assist the anesthetist with equipment setup, administering intravenous (IV) fluids, and monitoring patient vitals.

3. Post-Operative Duties and Administration

- Patient Transfer: Safely shift the patient from the operating table to a stretcher and transfer them to the recovery room.
- Waste Management: Segregate and dispose of biomedical and hazardous waste strictly following safety guidelines.
- Inventory and Record Keeping: Maintain logs of sterilization cycles, equipment maintenance schedules, and track consumables (like gloves, sutures, and narcotics) to keep the OT well-stocked.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
