Key Responsibilities:

- Validate all component-specific diagnostic and OBD2, OBDonUDS/ZEVonUDS requirements.
- Create test specifications and test plans aligned with product, customer, quality, and legal requirements.
Perform component defect analysis.
- Validate diagnostic and DTC implementations in the SiL platform.
- Work as a fully contributing team member with independent planning and execution responsibilities.
- Apply own judgment to determine and execute courses of action independently after review.
- Troubleshoot issues quickly and support the team in root cause analysis.
- Propose ideas for process and efficiency improvements.

Required Skill Set:

Experience in:

- Validation of diagnostics and OBD2 requirements in vehicle, HIL, or SiL environments.
- Specification and certification of OBD2 requirements for ECUs.




- Calibration of OBD2 or diagnostics parameters for vehicles.

Knowledge of:

- Protocols: CAN, UDS, FlexRay.
- Topics: Diagnostics, OBD, CARB regulations.
- Automotive components: Transmission, Electric Drive System, Battery Chargers, HV Components, etc.
- Prior experience handling OBD2 certification with CARB and pre-PVE vehicle validation.
- HV validation on HIL systems and tools.
- Requirements management tools such as DOORS.
- Measurement Calibration Diagnostic (MCD) tools: CANape, CANoe, CANalyzer, Candela Studio, INCA, CANoe DIVA.
- Testing tools: Vector CANoe, DiagRA, Silver, Provetech, Python, TW.
- Knowledge of C programming language is an added advantage.
