About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Tech Generalist Intern to join our technology team. This internship offers hands-on experience in software testing, database operations, and developer support while working on live applications. Candidates who demonstrate strong performance during the internship will be considered for a full time role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Software Testing & Quality Assurance (50%)

- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Prepare and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure high-quality product releases.

2. Database & Data Operations (30%)

- Work with databases to validate, update, and maintain application data.
- Execute basic SQL queries for data verification and reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Support data management and maintain relevant documentation.

3. Developer Support (20%)

- Assist developers in feature validation and release activities.
- Perform basic API testing and functional verification.
- Maintain technical documentation and release notes.
- Coordinate with the development team during implementation and deployment.





Required Skills

- Basic understanding of manual software testing.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Basic understanding of APIs and JSON is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to recent technologies.

Preferred Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science/IT) or an equivalent qualification.
- Final-year students or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Internship or academic project experience in software testing, databases, or development is an added advantage.
