Role: International Sales Specialist
Location: Pune (On Site)
Night Shift
Role Overview:
You're the bridge between a patient's confusion and clarity. Someone lands on
CureMeAbroad with a question"Can I get quality orthopedic surgery abroad for half the
cost?"and you're the person who transforms that into a real plan.
As an International Sales Specialist , you're the first trusted voice in the patient journey. You
qualify leads, understand their medical needs, research the right hospitals and surgeons across
our 350+ partner network, and line up treatment consultations (TCs) with the best fit. You're
not just gathering information, you're building confidence and trust.
Your core mission: Move qualified leads from "exploring" to "ready for conversation with a
doctor."
What You'll Actually Do (Day-to-Day):
Lead Qualification & Intake
● Jump into WhatsApp/chat and understand what patients actually need (their medical
history, budget, timeline, fears, priorities)
● Use our AI tools and clinical database to assess case viability
● Identify red flags early (cases we shouldn't pursue) and handle with care and clarity
● Navigate objections and build rapport especially with US and international clients
who may be skeptical about offshore care
Research & Treatment Planning
● Dig into our hospital + surgeon database to match patients with the right providers
● Review credentials, outcomes, specializations, pricing models
● Build personalized treatment + cost scenarios so patients understand options
● Present luxury-level service mentality in every interaction (these clients expect
excellence)
TC Coordination
● Line up doctor consultations with partner hospitals
● Prepare patients for conversations (what to expect,
what to ask, what docs need to
know)
● Manage timezones, language preferences, documentation flows
● Handoff to Account Success Lead with everything organized and relationship warm
Patient Communication●
Own the entire pre-sales conversation across channels (chat, WhatsApp, email, calls)
● Explain complex medical + logistical info in a way that feels approachable, not
intimidating
● Address objections, manage expectations, build trust
● Make small talk feel natural these conversations aren't transactional, they're
relationship-building
●Keep detailed notes so handoff is seamless
Analytics & Optimization
● Track your qualification rates, TC conversion, average time-to-TC
● Spot patterns (which hospitals convert best, which procedures have questions)
● Help the team refine processes based on what you're learning
What We're Looking For:
Required:
● 1+ years in customer-facing roles with US or international clients (sales, customer
success, patient advocacy, support something where you own the relationship)
●Preferred candidates come from a hospitality background, with experience in luxury
hotels, premium hospitality brands, travel, tourism, or other customer-centric service
industries where building long-term client relationships and delivering exceptional
customer experiences are key.
●Demonstrated experience in international sales, having worked with clients across
global markets and managed cross-border business development, lead generation,
client acquisition, and revenue growth.
●Solid strategic sales mindset, with the ability to analyse market opportunities,
identify growth areas, develop sales strategies, and execute plans that drive
sustainable business expansion—not just achieve sales targets.
● Experience engaging with global clients and stakeholders, with an understanding of
diverse business cultures, international communication, and the ability to build and
maintain relationships across different geographies and time zones.
Nice to Have:
● Medical tourism, healthcare, or international patient experience
● Exposure to healthcare systems or medical procedures
● Fluency in languages beyond English (German, Spanish, Turkish especially helpful)
● Founder mentality you don't wait to be told what to do, you find what needs doing
● Experience explaining medical/financial concepts to skeptical audiences
