AWS & GCP Delivery Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced AWS & GCP Delivery Manager with 16+ years of proven expertise in managing and delivering complex cloud infrastructure, data, application development, application modernization, and DevOps projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on technical experience in both AWS and GCP platforms, combined with exceptional project delivery and team leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Management

- Lead end-to-end delivery of AWS and GCP cloud infrastructure projects, ensuring on-time, within-budget, and high-quality execution
- Manage multiple concurrent projects across cloud infrastructure, data platforms, application development, and modernization initiatives
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies
- Drive agile/scrum methodologies and best practices across delivery teams
- Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and project metrics to ensure delivery excellence

Technical Leadership

- Provide hands-on technical guidance on AWS and GCP cloud architecture, design patterns, and best practices
- Lead application modernization initiatives including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and cloud-native transformations
- Oversee data migration, data platform implementation, and analytics solution delivery on AWS and GCP
- Guide DevOps practices including CI/CD pipeline implementation, infrastructure as code, and automation
- Conduct technical reviews, architecture assessments, and provide recommendations for optimization
- Stay current with AWS and GCP service updates, emerging technologies, and industry trends

Stakeholder Management





- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
- Manage client expectations, provide regular status updates, and escalate issues appropriately
- Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and technical discussions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client technical and business teams
- Present project updates, technical solutions, and recommendations to C-level executives

Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing cross-functional delivery teams
- Foster a collaborative culture focused on innovation, quality, and continuous improvement
- Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and support career development
- Manage resource planning, allocation, and optimize team utilization
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and establish communities of practice

Required Qualifications

Experience

- 16+ years of overall IT experience with at least 8+ years focused on AWS and GCP cloud platforms
- 5+ years in delivery management or program management roles with proven track record
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.
- Solid hands-on experience with GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, GKE, VPC, IAM, Deployment Manager, etc.
- Proven experience leading application modernization and cloud migration projects
- Deep experience with DevOps tools and practices (Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, Ansible,



Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics solutions on AWS and GCP

Technical Skills

- Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns, microservices, and distributed systems
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, GKE)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Familiarity with multiple programming languages (Python, Java, Node.js, etc.)
- Understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, data warehousing)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Knowledge of security best practices, compliance frameworks, and governance in cloud environments

Certifications (Preferred)

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Associate
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
- Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer
- PMP, Prince2, or Agile/Scrum certifications
