A "duty doctor" (often called a Resident Medical Officer or Medical Officer) is a healthcare professional on shift to provide immediate medical care, handle emergencies, and monitor admitted patients in a hospital or clinic. They manage urgent care, assess symptoms, and coordinate treatment during specific hours.

- Patient Assessment: Conducting initial physical examinations, recording medical histories, and ordering necessary diagnostic tests.
- Emergency Response: Providing immediate, life-saving medical care, including Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) during emergencies.
- Treatment & Prescribing: Diagnosing acute and chronic conditions, prescribing medications, and adjusting care plans as a patient's condition evolves.
- Monitoring & Rounds:



Conducting regular ward rounds to monitor the progress of inpatients and assist specialists with procedures.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, including medication charts, admission notes, and discharge summaries.
- Communication: Interacting with patients and their families to explain treatment plans, diagnoses, and medical next steps.
- Team Collaboration: Working alongside nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless continuity of care between shifts.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
