Backend Software Engineer (PHP / Laravel) – Photography SaaS Platform

PicEra is building a next-generation photography platform that combines CRM, Online Gallery, Album Design, Client Proofing, File Management, and Print Workflow into a single system for professional photographers and studios.

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer (PHP / Laravel) to build and maintain the backend architecture of this platform. The system will handle large-scale image uploads, gallery management, album projects, CRM workflows, image processing, and secure file storage.

The frontend application will communicate entirely through secure REST APIs developed by the backend team.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop scalable backend architecture using Laravel.
- Design and maintain secure REST APIs.
- Build CRM modules for clients, events, orders, and workflow management.
- Develop image upload, gallery, and file management systems.
- Implement image processing features including thumbnails, compression, watermarking, and previews.
- Build album project management and rendering APIs.
- Integrate local storage and cloud storage solutions.




- Optimize database performance and large file handling.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to deliver reliable APIs.
- Write clean, secure, well-documented, and maintainable code.

Preferred Experience

Experience building or contributing to platforms such as:

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of qualified PHP/Laravel development experience.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software architecture.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
