Job Title: Commis Chef – Continental Kitchen (Current Café Opening)

Location: Jalandhar Heights-II, 66 Feet Road, Jalandhar, Punjab

Job Type: Full-time | Salary: ₹14,000 – ₹18,000/month + staff meals

Cavallo is a new specialty café and European kitchen opening in Jalandhar. We're hiring two commis chefs for our continental line — breakfast, sandwiches, pasta, and prep.

Responsibilities:

- Daily mise en place: vegetables, sauces, proteins, dressings per prep lists
- Support the line during service: breakfast plates, sandwiches, salads, fryer station
- Follow recipe cards and portion specs exactly
- Maintain hygiene standards, labeling, and FIFO stock rotation
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries

Requirements:





- 1+ year kitchen experience (continental/café preferred; hotel management freshers with internship experience welcome)
- Knife skills and basic cooking fundamentals
- Willing to work morning or evening rotational shifts, 6 days/week
- Hardworking, punctual, and eager to learn — we train and promote from within
