**Role Overview:**As an Accounting Specialist at the company, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting, tax compliance, and banking operations. The ideal candidate for this role should be a CA/CWA with around 2 years of post-qualification experience in accounting and taxation, preferably with exposure to statutory compliance and audit processes. Your role will require hands-on accounting experience, a strong understanding of IGAAP, and a keen orientation toward tax and compliance management.**Key Responsibilities:**- Manage and finalize books of accounts in compliance with statutory laws and IGAAP; familiarity with IFRS will be an added advantage.- Ensure timely filing of tax returns and maintain updated tax records in accordance with applicable regulations.- Oversee accounting entries for ongoing business processes, ensuring accurate recording of accruals and expense recognition (e.g., vendor service utilization, prepaid expenses).- Coordinate with internal compliance and audit teams, providing required financial data and documentation.- Conduct monthly internal audit checks to verify accuracy, compliance, and appropriateness of expenses.- Monitor and manage bank balances, initiate fund transfers, and prepare remittance documentation.- Handle tax compliance for remittances, including preparation and filing of Form 15CA/CB.- Liaise with bankers for account openings, closures, and updates while ensuring efficient cash flow management.- Plan short-term investments and ensure cash balances earn optimal returns (e.g., mutual fund operations, fixed deposits).- Implement SOPs for accounting, approval workflows,
