Petrochemicals: Adani Group is making significant strides in the petrochemical landscape with the establishment of its inaugural petrochemical complex, named Green PVC. This initiative aligns with our broader strategy in the petrochemicals, oil & gas, and downstream sectors.The Petrochemicals Business Unit is spearheading the Green PVC project, which entails a substantial investment of INR 26,000 crore. This investment is focused on integrating the acetylene route to facilitate sustainable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) manufacturing. Currently in the execution phase, the project is on track to deliver its first product by June 2026.
Job Purpose: The Construction Piping Senior Team Member is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all piping works in alignment with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements. This role ensures the timely and efficient completion of piping activities while upholding safety, quality, and budgetary standards, supporting the Construction Piping Lead in driving project success and maintaining seamless operations across the site.
Responsibilities
Construction Piping Senior Team Member-PETCHEM
Site Operations & Oversight:
Ensure efficient execution of assigned piping tasks by overseeing daily site operations under the guidance of the Construction Piping Lead.
Maintain high safety and quality standards during piping fabrication and erection activities, ensuring proper job delegation.
Project Planning & Coordination:
Coordinate with the engineering division to secure necessary drawings, ensuring smooth execution of piping jobs in alignment with project objectives.
Collaborate with stores and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of materials for ongoing and upcoming jobs.
Assist in maintaining project schedules by closely coordinating with planning and procurement teams.
Implement innovative methods as directed by the Construction Piping Lead to optimize time and cost efficiencies.
Technical Design Review:
Support the technical review of piping designs, ensuring that any changes are communicated and executed effectively.
Provide input on design issues and work closely with the design team to resolve technical challenges during construction.
Compliance, Quality & Safety Management:
Uphold compliance with industry regulations and safety protocols, working alongside the quality department for testing and inspection of completed piping jobs.
Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards, reporting any deviations to the Construction Piping Lead.
Budget & Cost Control:
Assist in managing project costs by monitoring expenditures and identifying opportunities for resource optimization under the supervision of the Construction Piping Lead.
Contribute to cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or project timelines.
Risk & Change Management:
Proactively identify and address potential risks in the assigned piping tasks,
implementing mitigation strategies in coordination with the Construction Piping Lead.
Support the management of changes to project scope, ensuring they align with project goals and are communicated effectively to all stakeholders.
Commissioning, Handover & Post-construction Support:
Assist in overseeing the commissioning of piping systems, ensuring they meet operational requirements and are ready for handover.
Provide post-construction support to address any issues that arise during the commissioning phase, ensuring long-term reliability and satisfaction with the piping installations.
Document the commissioning and handover process as required for future reference.
Team Management:
Support the Construction Piping Lead in managing the team by contributing to goal-setting, providing feedback, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance team skills and ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Work Experience (Range of years):
Minimum of 7-12 years in large-scale piping projects.
Experience in planning, execution, and coordination of various piping jobs in large-scale industrial projects.
Robust technical skills with proven planning abilities.
Experience managing multiple stakeholders (both internal and external) and negotiating with large-scale, high-value vendors.
