Job Description: A Raw Material Handling System (RMHS) or Raw Material Processing (RMP) Operator in a steel pipe manufacturing company is responsible for the receiving, storage, preparation, and feeding of raw materials (such as iron ore, coal, lime, or steel scrap) into the production process (DRI kiln, blast furnace, or melting shop). Key Responsibilities

- Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Safely operate heavy machinery (crushers, conveyors, stackers) via PLC/DCS, while performing routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
- Process & Quality Control: Manage material flow to the kiln/furnace, optimizing parameters for quality production and adherence to sizing requirements.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict PPE and LOTO procedures,



focusing on environmental compliance.
- Documentation: Maintain daily logs of operational data and material usage.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Education: Relevant ITI or Diploma.
- Experience: Previous work in a steel or heavy manufacturing workplace.
- Technical Skills: Competence in material handling systems and PLC/DCS operation.
- Physical Fitness: Able to work in industrial, high-temperature settings.
