Job Description: An RMHS Shift Incharge oversees Raw Material Handling System operations during their shift, managing personnel, monitoring equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards, coordinating with other departments, and resolving operational issues to maintain production targets and efficiency, typically in an industrial setting like a steel or coal plant. Responsibilities include managing material flow, maintaining operational records, implementing emergency plans, and fostering a safe and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and Manage Staff: Lead and coordinate a team of operators and other staff during the assigned shift, allocating tasks and ensuring they are trained and follow protocols.
- Monitor Equipment and Operations: Oversee the operation and performance of RMHS equipment, such as conveyors, stackers, and reclaimers.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and environmental compliance, especially concerning dust control and material handling.
- Manage Material Flow: Monitor and manage the inbound and outbound movement of raw materials like iron ore and coal.
- Maintain Production Standards: Ensure that production targets and quality standards are met during the shift.
- Coordinate with Other Departments: Collaborate with logistics, procurement, maintenance, and other teams to maintain smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot Issues:



Promptly identify and resolve operational problems and equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of shift operations, production data, and equipment performance, and prepare reports for management.
- Implement Emergency Procedures: Develop and implement emergency response plans for unforeseen incidents.
- Optimize Processes: Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings within the RMHS department.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of raw material handling systems, equipment operation, and process monitoring.
- Leadership and Management: Ability to supervise, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
