We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated fresh graduates who are passionate about software quality and automation testing. As a QA Automation Trainee, you will work alongside experienced QA Engineers and Software Developers to build automated test suites and ensure high -quality software delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Learn Software Testing fundamentals (Manual & Automation Testing)
- Understand the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Learn test case design techniques and defect lifecycle
- Gain hands -on experience with automation frameworks
- Learn programming fundamentals using Python
- Understand Object -Oriented Programming concepts
- Learn API testing concepts using Postman
- Learn version control using Git
- Understand SQL basics for database validation
- Work on real -world automation assignments and mini projects
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts
- Execute manual and automated test cases
- Identify, document, and track software defects
- Perform regression, functional, smoke, and sanity testing
- Validate APIs and backend services
- Collaborate with developers to resolve defects
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, and Retrospectives
- Maintain test documentation and automation reports
- Continuously improve automation coverage and testing processes
Requirements
- Basic understanding of programming (Java, Python, or C#)
- Good knowledge of Object -Oriented Programming concepts
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Understanding of databases
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS is an advantage
- Basic understanding of APIs is desirable
- Familiarity with Git is a plus
- Strong logical reasoning
