Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging History lessons for Classes XI and XII in accordance with the prescribed CBSE syllabus.
Develop comprehensive lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessment tools to enhance student learning.
Conduct regular formative and summative evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of student performance.
Encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, and historical research methods among students.
Organize and supervise co‑curricular activities such as debates, quizzes, history projects, and field trips.
Participate actively in faculty meetings, career development programs, and curriculum development initiatives.
Maintain a disciplined, supportive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and management to address student needs and promote overall academic excellence.
Essential Qualifications
Master’s degree (M.A.)
in History from a recognized university.
B.Ed. or an equivalent qualified teaching qualification is mandatory.
Eligibility for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) or State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET).
Proficiency in English and Hindi (both spoken and written) to effectively communicate with students and parents.
Desired Experience
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary (Class XI–XII) level.
Demonstrated ability to integrate technology and digital resources into History instruction.
Experience in mentoring students for competitive exams (e.g., UPSC, State Civil Services) is a plus.
Track record of publishing research or articles related to History or education is advantageous.
