Roles & Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management:
Lead a product software development team of 7–15 developers for end-to-end development and deployment of software features and bug fixes.
Mentor software developers, identify technical gaps, and build technical capability within the team.
Involve in hiring and building a solid technical taskforce.
Provide guidance on problem-solving, debugging, and ensuring timely delivery of team deliverables.

Product & Technical Ownership:
Understand and learn the product domain and software to provide effective technical mentorship.
Define functional specifications, design specifications, implementation plans, and verification strategies.
Ensure software quality across all deliverables and maintain adherence to the software development lifecycle.
Work in a matrix organization, interfacing with multiple stakeholders across disciplines.

Project Planning & Execution:
Plan, track, and manage deliverables for multiple software projects.
Support organizational initiatives and address generic technical issues.
Communicate significant issues or developments timely to relevant stakeholders.

Technical Expertise:




Be proficient in software development, programming, and Agile development methodologies.
Contribute significantly in a techno-managerial capacity with hands-on coding when required.
Work on scalable products with exposure to cloud platforms (AWS), Unix/Linux environments, and databases like MySQL.
Work with Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Redis, and DevOps tools like Jenkins. Experience in machine learning products is an added advantage.

Stakeholder Interaction:
Collaborate effectively with end users, product teams, and application engineering teams.
Influence stakeholders through solid communication skills and technical expertise.

Desired Candidate Profile:
Lead/management role experience with 6–10 years in software development, architecture, coding, bug fixing, and CI/CD releases.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Hands-on experience with scalable products, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and up-to-date software technologies.
Exposure to machine learning or AI-based product development is a plus.
