Job Description

What you’ll do…
Operate washing, drying, ironing and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
Wash, dry, press and fold hotel linen, guest laundry and Heartist uniforms to the highest quality standards.
Sort laundry according to fabric type, colour and washing instructions to ensure proper garment care.
Inspect linen, uniforms and guest garments for stains, damage or repairs before and after processing.
Ensure guest laundry is handled with care and delivered accurately and on time.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area, equipment and workstations throughout your shift.
Report any equipment faults, linen shortages or maintenance issues promptly.
Follow hotel procedures for handling laundry chemicals and operating equipment safely.
Support linen inventory and assist in maintaining stock levels as required.
Work closely with the Housekeeping team to ensure a continuous supply of clean linen for guest rooms and public areas.
Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures while maintaining The Hoxton's quality standards.
