Deputy General Manager - Hotels

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Deputy General Manager to join our hotel leadership team. The Deputy General Manager will play a crucial role in assisting the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving financial performance. This position requires a strong leader with a comprehensive understanding of hotel management, a passion for hospitality, and a proven ability to manage diverse teams and complex operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the General Manager in the overall strategic planning, direction, and operation of the hotel, ensuring alignment with company goals and standards.
Oversee daily hotel operations across all departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and Sales, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive work setting and promoting skilled growth among staff.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability,



implementing strategies to achieve budget targets and optimize financial results.
Ensure compliance with all brand standards, company policies, and local regulations, including health, safety, and security protocols.
Handle guest relations, responding to feedback, resolving complaints, and ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Support the development and implementation of sales and marketing initiatives to maximize occupancy and average daily rate (ADR).
Manage inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships to ensure effective operations and cost control.
Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and adherence to quality standards.
Participate in the recruitment, training, and performance management of hotel staff.
Act as General Manager in their absence, making critical decisions and ensuring continuity of operations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and guest experience.
