Job Summary

The Site Supervisor (Civil – Steel) is responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities related to structural steel works. This includes ensuring proper execution, safety compliance, quality standards, and timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day site activities related to structural steel fabrication and erection
Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors for smooth workflow
Monitor steel installation, welding, bolting, and alignment activities
Ensure adherence to safety standards and site regulations
Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality control
Track material usage and coordinate for timely availability
Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation
Identify and resolve in office issues efficiently
Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and manpower

Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of structural steel works, fabrication, and erection




Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Positive leadership and team management skills
Understanding of safety standards and construction practices
Problem-solving and decision-making ability
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reporting tools)

Qualifications
Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Certification in safety (preferred)

Experience
3–8 years of experience in civil construction with a focus on steel structures
Experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects preferred

Work Environment
Primarily on construction sites
May require travel or relocation depending on project location
Ability to work in outdoor conditions and extended hours if required

Reporting To
Project Manager / Site Engineer

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
