Qualification: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Industry Preference: Air Conditioning (AC), HVAC, Consumer Durables, Home Appliances, Sheet Metal Manufacturing, or similar Assembly Line Manufacturing.

Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager – Sheet Metal Department (Press Shop) for a leading Air Conditioning Manufacturing company. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Sheet Metal Press Shop operations, including power press, hydraulic press, progressive dies, and sheet metal component manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage complete Sheet Metal Press Shop operations.
Ensure achievement of daily production targets while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety.
Supervise press shop activities including Power Press, Hydraulic Press, Mechanical Press,



Progressive & Compound Dies.
Plan manpower deployment, machine utilization, and production scheduling.
Coordinate with Tool Room, Maintenance, Planning, Quality, and Stores for smooth production.
Monitor die performance and ensure timely die changeovers and preventive maintenance.
Implement Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Prepare daily production reports, MIS, and monitor production KPIs.
