Roles and Responsibility of SQI :
1.Conduct initial supplier assessments to evaluate manufacturing capabilities, quality
systems, process controls, and compliance with organizational and industry
standards prior to supplier onboarding.
2.Preferred candidate will have hands-on experience with key manufacturing
processes including casting, machining, plastic injection moulding, rubber moulding,
and powder coating.
3.Hands-on experience in conducting Supplier PPAP activities for automotive
components, including FCS units, ensuring compliance with industry standards and
customer requirement.
4.Knowledge of automotive quality standards including VDA 6.3 and IATF 16949;
certified auditors or trained specialists will be preferred.
5.Collaborate with external stakeholders Suppliers, and Customers & CFT such as
Quality, Sourcing, Design to drive project quality and timelines.
6.Participate in customer meetings to address supplier quality concerns and ensure
effective implementation of customer action plans by coordinating and following up
with suppliers.
7.Ready to travel across India to supplier sites on short notice for quality
assessments and project support.
