Job Description:

Responsibilities and Duties
 Monitoring all purchase activities.
 Sourcing and procuring of all Engineering Materials ,Raw Materials & Packaging Materials for pharmaceutical formulation manufacturing plant located at Rudrapur.
 Developing recent vendors & vendor evaluation.
 Inviting quotations, negotiating and finalizing pricing.
 Preparing comparison statements.
 Obtaining necessary approvals and processing purchase orders.
 Follow-up with vendors for dispatch details.
 Follow-up with Logistics team / CHA for clearance of material.
 Preparing raw material cost estimations for current projects.
 Handling purchase of pharma machines, spares for all utility items.
 Handling purchase of lab equipment, spares and consumables.
 Responsible for vendor development, vendor audit, and ongoing vendor management meeting Quality, Food Safety and regulatory requirements.
 Ensuring procurement of quality & quantity on time with focus on cost optimization and savings.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications




 B.Pharm / B.Tech with Degree or Diploma in Materials / Supply Chain / Operations Management.
 Around 20 years of experience in handling purchases for reputed mid-size pharmaceutical company.
 Robust experience in vendor development, vendor audit and site visit for engineering procurement.
 Experience in purchase of capital items including pharmaceutical machines and utility items.
 Hands-on expertise in procurement of Raw Material & Packaging Material for Formulation & Injectable plants.
 Strong negotiation, coordination, inspection, cost optimization and saving skills.
