Lead Engineer – React Native

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead React Native Engineer with 6+ years of experience in mobile application development to act as the technical owner of a business‑critical mobile platform. This is an individual contributor role with no direct people management, responsible for driving mobile architecture, reliability, and technical excellence while mentoring engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
Own the architecture, design, and technical decision‑making for scalable, secure, and maintainable React Native mobile applications, enforcing engineering standards and best practices.
Provide technical leadership across the mobile team through code reviews, design discussions, and mentorship, without direct people management.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, QA, DevOps, and backend teams to deliver high‑quality mobile solutions.
Architect reusable and modular mobile solutions to support long‑term scalability and platform evolution.




Lead integration with backend services including REST APIs, GraphQL, Firebase, analytics platforms, and third‑party SDKs.
Design and implement native modules and platform‑specific optimizations using Kotlin and Swift.
Own production reliability, observability, and mobile health metrics, including incident response, postmortems, and continuous improvement.
Drive mobile CI/CD, automated builds, release pipelines, and deployment strategies across environments.
Participate in sprint planning, estimation, roadmap discussions, and technical strategy planning.
Evaluate and adopt new tools, frameworks, and best practices to continuously improve mobile engineering excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
6+ years of software engineering experience with extensive mobile application development experience
Solid expertise in React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, state management, navigation, modular architecture, and React Native’s New Architecture
